To protect Clearwater Bay from a new forest management plan that intends to clearcut the forests.
These forests are close to the shoreline of Clearwater Bay, bordering residential property and threatening its fragile ecosystem. The Ministry's Forest Management Plan (FMP) is in direct violation of the very intent of a Restricted Area Order that has been enforced for 30 years.
Why It Matters
Protecting Clearwater Bay from increased levels of nutrients is crucial to preserving a healthy ecosystem in the Water.
